Sean French and Colin Arnold the Dallas duo behind, Eyes, Wings & Many Other Things met through mutual friends at a time when they were both pursuing other projects. They discovered a shared taste of peculiar off-beat music, with Sean favoring droney-psychedelic and ambient sounds while Colin was drawn to a grittier fare of the same nature, as well as old blues and Doo-wop. Their eclectic taste in music shines through in their debut LP, Napalm Beach.Bringing their unique styles together welcomed a wide breadth of avenues to explore musically. Early rumblings came in the form of stoned singular tracks that were layered on old cassette eight tracks at The Cat House, a recording studio at Sean's house. While casually coming together, many of the impromptu songs would often develop into something sonically worthwhile. Over the course of several albums, the group developed a style all their own leading up to Eyes, Wings & Many Other Things.
As their sound continues to expand, combining new influences to keep it fresh, the band has plans to tour the U.S. and Europe (the group played as a trio with Del Perez in Paris 2010) and release more albums on the recently formed Pour le Corps Records label, which Sean co-created with music blogger Marjorie Owens.
